FAQWhen do you meet? We meet every other Wednesday at 8-9:30 AM Where do you meet? We meet at 111 Founders Plaza in East Hartford in the cafeteria on the first floor. Do I have to come every week? No. Perfect attendance is not required, however the more you put into the group the more you will receive. It is recommended and expected that you will commit to coming each week, or if you are unable to attend that you will notify the leaders of the group or send a substitute. Is it alright if I miss a couple meetings? Yes, missing a meeting or two is alright, but we would like to see your commitment to the group grow to such a level that you will not want to miss a meeting. Remember, the more you give to the group the more you will receive. Do you keep track of the number of referrals I give? No. We do not keep track of the number of referrals that you give. But focusing on watching for referral opportunities for other members is what the group is all about. We do ask the group to describe their referrals and testimonies each week. Is there a cost to join? Visitors may attend at no charge for up to three weeks and then there is a small one time cost of $250 to defray the cost of advertising for the group. These funds go toward the Web Site Development and Hosting and other promotional materials. That seems pretty early. Why does it have to be 8am? Through experience we have tried other times and formats and we have found that that this time works best. This time allows us to conduct our meeting, get some encouragement and referrals and still be back to the workplace before the business day begins. Are all applicants for membership accepted? No. We are looking for non-competing businesses that will work well together. So it is more important to the group that there is the right fit of business that work well together.
What if I want to join but there is already a member in my business class? A waiting list is available so that if your business class leaves the group then you would be would be called as a replacement. So let us know of your interest and get on the waiting list. |
